Guida's has been around since I was a child. It is a famous family landmark because it's right around the corner from my grandparents' old house. So happy it is still running strong. The service was excellent, kind and inviting. It made me glad I stopped. The ice cream was yummy.

I really enjoyed their food. The staff was friendly. It is about 10 minutes from our home. We will be back again. Thank you for beinging friendly. Plus it is not crowded when we go but, by the time we left it was full.

Food was ok.Place really needs a good cleaning. Sit at the counter in front of the grill and look under the shelves...very dirty old food and old dirt. Not daily stuff.

I like this venue very much. there is a very nice feeling. The food is superb. the service is dynamic and the waiters are well trained. The price is decent. deeply recommend.

Would have gave it 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive and they took credit cards.

We stopped here for hot dogs the other day. The ten-inch long dogs were grilled perfectly with butter on New England style rolls. We added an order of onion rings and went outside to the picnic tables to enjoy our meal. The onion rings were greasy but the hot dogs were very enjoyable. Guida's is an old established dairy in Connecticut which is primarily known for its milk and distributed widely. Their restaurant here also offers a variety of ice cream. Customers can dine in or order take out. Service was speedy and courteous. A few years of framed tasters choice Awards on the walls show many people feel their hot dogs are the best.

Not the greatest place. Always busy but I don't taste the appeal. My husband likes this place but I can't get into it. Staff isn't that friendly so it must be one of those old time places where family use to go.

Best hot dog in this area that's for sure. Foot long dogs with great fries, onion rings and plenty of topping to choose from. Staff was great, friendly and attentive. Go with cash, that's all they accept, but they do have a ATM machine in the restaurant.

We always get hotdogs and fries. The owners and name has changed but the food stayed the same.

Cute roadside stop for hot dogs, burgers, fries, onion rings and more. A fairly shaded area is available with picnic tables for enjoying your treats outside. The also serve ice cream.

Being fairly new to New England, I've gotta say this was probably thebest hotdog I've ever eaten, hands down! The service was quick and the staff are very courteous. We'll definitely be coming back!

Great place to go for lunch. Hot dogs are delightful here. They also have burgers and French fries. The milk shakes are good to help wash it down. You can also get ice cream for dessert. There is seating inside or outside. staff is friendly.

It was ok my steak sandwich was very blend no taste,otherwise it was ok,I love tha onion rings

Great hamburger! The grilled chicken was also delicious. I like the little wood-fork they give you to eat the fries. -very clever. We stoped after a long hike and we requested a nice hit coffee, they went the extra mile to make a new pot fresh. I apreciate the extra care. The waitress was very friendly and overall I will say, we had an excellent costumer service. I highly recommend this place. 🍜 Oh Yes! YOU NEED TO BRING CASH. They do have an ATM machine, but it's better to have cash in your wallet. 😉

I occasionally crave a good dawg.This place does have very good hot dogs.Unfortunately, I agree with other commenters that the staff is very , very rude. To the point where you don’t want to go back.

Well I must say that this place is well overpriced we ordered two hot dogs and an order of chicken nuggets for my daughter and two sodas, the fries tasted like they were fried in overused oil so where the chicken nuggets after we finish eating we ordered a Carmel Sunday which was pretty good are bill came up to $41 dollars, so I go to pay with my debit card they don't accept debit cards cash only so I had to use their ATM that's in front of the cash register for a fee of $2.50 talk about double dipping Soca finish my story I will not be going back there ever again.

So good. They boast the best hotdog in CT and I can't find any reason to disagree. Burgers and fries are great and so are the shakes.

Best fries, burgers and hotdogs available in the area! They also offer a vast selection of ice cream and shakes. Waitstaff is friendly and accommodating. The food is all fresh and cooked to order. I would definitely recommend to anyone.
